For years now, my nose has vicariously been living through my body lotions. The honeyed scents have enlivened my nostril hairs, and lead it to have an affair with these ambrosial lotions. But, never: and I mean never: has it ever had such a crush on something, then when I started using Weleda Citrus Hydrating Body Lotion!
Weleda has always made brilliant products. I fell in love with their Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil when I got fat living in Austria (all those Appfelstrudels were not welcoming on my thighs). So, it is no surprise that I have fallen for the Weleda Citrus Hydrating Body Lotion, with its sweet, citrus tones that have truly awoken my senses and keeps me on a natural 'high' for hours. I am lead to believe that it works better than my morning coffee at waking me from my comatose-need-to-smack-me-acros-the-face daze that I have going every day before 10 am. Now trust me, that is some serious feat.
Weleda is a certified natural skincare brand, so Weleda Citrus Hydrating Body Lotion naturally (pun not intended) contains pure plant oils derived from sun-ripened seeds and fruits which are full of energy and active ingredients. These oils, rich in essential fatty acids, are absorbed splendidly and help stimulate the skins' natural regenerative process. What's left is: a beautifully soft, delectable skin, that you probably won't be able to stop caressing.
Not only is the is the aroma piquant and intoxicating, but the way my skin feels after each use is like it has dived into a cloud of cashmere and silk: euphoric.
What is your favourite body lotion?

I'm using a few weleda products at the moment including some birtch body oil and body scrub that are supposed to help with cellulite (no comment!). I've also recently finished the Weleda rose body lotion. It was great, a very ovely texture and smell.
